UNAIDS- Uganda inspires the AIDS response of Uganda to achieve its shared vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths. 

UNAIDS​-Uganda leads and unites the efforts of 11 UN organizations—UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, UNFPA, ​IOM,, UN Women, ILO, UNESCO, WHO​, FAO and works closely with global and national partners towards ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals. 

The “Men are Stars – Abaami Munyeenye” campaign connects men and boys aged 15 to 49 to HIV testing, treatment, and care services, particularly in areas most hit by the pandemic.

Men and boys learn the necessity of frequent health check-ups, including HIV testing, through activities like:- the Kabaka Birthday Run, the Masaza football cup, the royal boat race, traditional campfire centers, school camps, radio and television programs, and radio and television shows.
